“For Julia and Andrew, it was important to consider their enjoyment in hosting gatherings with friends and family. We created an L-shaped island which is discretely split into two sections. The first incorporating a BORA Professional cooktop, with a small prep-sink and Quooker hot tap. The second part of the island was created for a bar style seating area, to be able to simultaneously prepare food and entertain guests in separate areas of one continued surface. A mini bar for soft drinks and beverages was made to be closed away when not required, transforming the kitchen setting. We incorporated Sous Vide style cooking with a vacuum draw, so that Andrew can experiment with Micheline star cooking techniques.
